Royse City is a small suburban town on State Highway 66 just five miles northeast of Rockwall in the northeastern corner of Rockwall County. Named for G. B. Royse, who in 1886 platted the town site and sold its first lots, this now community of approximately 3,000 is dedicated to maintaining a small town attitude with a progressive sensibility.
