Little Elm Homes for Sale

With over 1000 new homes reportedly built in 2005, it is no secret that Little Elm is a city on the rise in North Texas. With 67 percent (that's nearly 23 miles) of Little Elm's city limits occupying shoreline on Lake Lewisville (which attracts over 6 million visitors a year), many of the neighborhoods in town has a direct view of the lake, a fact for which the city is becoming increasingly famous in the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex. Cottonwood Creek Marina was named in 2006 as Texas' "Marina of the Year." The Little Elm Independent School district is currently building a new $14 million dollar football and sports complex while city planners are in talks to expand and create new roadways in order to keep up with the traffic needs of its residents and commuters. The hope is to have several road expansion projects completed by 2008. Little Elm residents also enjoy easy access to commercial travel outlets through DFW International Airport and Love Field Airport and all the amenities the metroplex has to offer. While the city is growing, Little Elm's strongest attraction is that it has still retained its small town demeanor. Students living in the city attend schools in the Little Elm Independent School District.
