Dallas Real Estate
Earlier in 2007, CNN and Money magazine recently named three Dallas/Fort Worth area communities among the 100 Best Places to Live across the United States. Keller came in at No. 50 spot, Mansfield at No. 83 and Grapevine as No. 97. These smaller cities, with populations of 7,500 to 50,000, were honored because of their sense of community, good schools, safe streets and economic opportunities. Situated 15 miles north of Fort Worth in northeast Tarrant County, Keller has been attracting homebuyers due to its prime location, affordable housing options, and new retail and commercial development. You can find luxury Dallas real estate in this area. The Keller Town Center, a 340-acre mixed-use planned development, is on the horizon as well. With open prairie land directly to its west, Keller has found itself home to part of the DFW International Airport complex as the facilities have expanded in to parts of the city. The Dallas real estate area has become a hot spot for young families and business professionals looking for both economic accessibility and the laid back atmosphere of rural suburban living.

Keller's neighboring city, Grapevine, made the list as well because it is an ideal choice for homeowners, business people, and travelers because of its proximity to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Located 21 miles northwest of Dallas and 19 miles northeast of Fort Worth. The Grapevine-Colleyville area combines an old town suburban feel with all the modern amenities that the metroplex has to offer. Grapevine is home to Grapevine Lake, whose 146 miles of shoreline have become a premier windsurfing, sailing and fishing destination in North Texas. Grapevine hosts a turn or the century downtown district, three public golf courses (one designed by golfing legend Byron Nelson), the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, Bass Pro Shop, Grapevine Mills Mall, and the annual Grapefest celebration; which serves to showcase the cities historic district and areas wineries.

As one of the fastest-developing, dynamic cities in North Texas - Mansfield is located just sixteen miles southeast of Fort Worth at the intersection of Tarrant and Johnson Counties. Mansfield has been attracting homebuyers because of its quality of life. The city is home to more than 240 acres of scenic parkland, a historic downtown district and boasts convenient access to Joe Pool Lake; a 7,500 acre boating and fishing paradise surrounded by 4 parks covering near 3,500 acres of natural terrain located in neighboring Grand Prairie. But through its recent development and population increase, the city of Mansfield has held on to its family friendly small town charm and is still considered to be one of the best suburban communities in the metroplex. If you are ready to settle down in one of these Best Places to Live communities or the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, please don't hesitate to call a HomeCity Dallas real estate agent at 1-877-284-2489 or email us at customer_service@homecity.com.
